the previous weekend i was still feeling crook, which meant hitting the slopes wasn't on the cards. thankfully though, i was able to take the following wednesday off work. on top of that some of my mates were also able to join me and it had snowed oodles the days before. there's not much that beats snowboarding on powder snow on a clear sunny day; we couldn't have asked for better conditions. well perhaps, even more powder snow ;-) it was my first time at alpbach. it's simply incredible how many ski resorts are within a two hour drive from munich....so spoilt for choice. anyways, i tried to capture some of our snowboarding/ski moments, but as always one had to be there to experience the true beauty of it all. how fortunate we are!
